Its one of the most important cause its dedicated to one of my friends who died in Lake Tahoe California, snowboarding in 2004....
All because he was missing a $100 safety item..... So what happened???and what was he missing???
Ian was a real good surfer he had good abilities and he wasnt scared of big waves or to take it to the next level...
He was snowboarding in TAHOE and he wasn't wearing

A HELMET
He missed a turn in a place that had only a few trees and he hit a small tree....He died at the scene before they could even get him off the mountain.....
If he had been wearing a helmet he probably would have got up and kept going the rest of the day....for the rest of his life....but his life ended at that instant!!!
His new wife was pregnant with his first kid...
He never got to see him...All because he was missing that one cheap ass piece of safety gear!

You will wish you had listened to the snowboarding master...Believe me I know...I broke my wrist last year while roller blading at the local skate park at night...I had both my wrist guards in my RIGHT hand and decided to cruise down the ramp into the flats to put them on...took a dive and broke my LEFT wrist...
Luckily I healed fast and didn't miss any of the 2003/2004 winter season, but I REALLY WISH I had them on at the time...Aside from a Helmet, a good pair of wrist guards...this is the one other piece of snowboarding safety gear that might keep you on the slopes and out of your favorite doctors office...at least during your first season. YO a trueism.... WristGuards are even cheaper than helmets !!!
